Mortals and Lesser Mortals

I believe that there are essential two types of beings exiting on this planet; the Mortals and Lesser Mortals. At the very onset for records let me state that this distinction is not based on much used and abused social and economical class system. The social and economical class may have a direct or indirect influence on your status of being a Mortal or Lesser Mortal. Let me bring out the distinction between Mortals and Lesser Mortals.

Every creation comes with an expiry date. And thus like everything else even human beings are mortal. But then the way we live our life, act on a day to day basis, thoughts we think, words we speak or write makes us Mortals or Lesser Mortals.

• Mortals live life by design and not by default.
• Mortals take responsibility of what they do, think and say. They never shun away from the consequences of their act.
• Lesser Mortals dreams, Mortals never dreams. They hardly know the difference between dream and reality. In simple words Mortals live their dreams. 24X7 they chase their dreams and so the distinction between dream and reality blurs. And at this stage in Paulo Coelho’s words ‘the whole world conspires to help you achieve it’.
• Mortals are addicted to life. They live every moment as their best moment. Lesser Mortals are greedy about everything but life. Whereas Mortals are greedy about life. They treasure life. • Mortals only love themselves. The self love is the highest form of love. Lesser mortals are perpetually confused with self-love and selfishness.

Everybody is born a Lesser Mortal and it’s through continuous pursuit of life that one becomes Mortal. So get up and get going. Become a Mortal.
