Mustache

I don’t want to sound male chauvinist but it’s an interesting thought that has crossed my mind.

The world in general has been a male dominating society. And slowly with the turn of century you would notice that females are coming in the fore front. This blog is not about analyzing this development. In fact my personal opinion on woman emancipation is that it’s a good thing for society. But there is an interesting aspect to this development.

Women are in every profession. The professions that were thought to be of male dominance have women employees, working with ease. I don’t find a single instance that can be labeled as ‘male only’.

Fashion that I believe is a summary of the society also has female dominance. Women look gorgeous and beautiful as always in pair of trousers something that was ‘only’ male clothing once upon a time. In fact every piece of clothing that was for men is worn by women with ease and sensuality. But I am yet to find a men spotting female attire.

To add to all this we notice that men have started keeping clean shave like our female counterpart. It seems the day is not far when looking female would be latest ‘in’ thing. Like tom-boy, Oxford dictionary would have new word like charlie-girl. And female version of slang ‘male chauvinist pig’ (MCP) would be ‘feminist bitch’, (FB).

I am not against female dominated society. In fact I can see that coming. But then would congruence of male and female to one be healthy? Shouldn’t male look, think and feel like male and female like female?

And to start with why cannot male spot mustache? At least that would help spotting the one from other. That’s the only male thing I cannot imagine a female with.
